This is because we founded SAMLA, the music collective and subsequent independent label, based on one simple mission and intention: to create, support, and promote the art and music we want to listen to. In short, we are our biggest fans and intend to keep it that way. We want to see a larger representation of experimental, conceptual, instrumental art music, and sound design.
